An idyllic thatched cottage country pub in rural NW Essex. 5 miles from the Imperial War Museum at Duxford,13 miles from historic Cambridge. Situated midway along the ancient Icknield Way is a great spot for lunch during a short or long walk. There is an a la carte menu, bar and children's menu. All cooked from fresh ingredients daily. With lovely scented gardens and wonderful roaring open fires it is a perfect retreat to the country at anytime of year.
