There is a friendly community atmosphere and regular events take place throughout the year to entertain locals and visitors alike, the biggest of which are the Easter and August bank holiday beer festivals. There is a large Beer garden which is a real sun trap when it shines, and live music takes place outside when weather permits, and at Christmas time is transformed with decorations and lights!
